Fourth Report on the State of the Region
About the Report
The Fourth Report gives continuity to the tradition of being an instrument for and from Central America, one that analyzes and monitors the main challenges of sustainable human development. It offers an in-depth look at a set of issues that are key to understanding recent developments in the region, such as: social exclusion, democratic states, migration, citizen security and climate change. It is a selective documentation of processes that identify and chronicle efforts undertaken by various social, economic, political and institutional actors in the recent past and the imprint they have made on development in the isthmus.
