My Closet
Guidelines for “My Closet”
Tipton Community School Corporation is committed to keeping “My Closet” open to serve our students in need by providing a new outfit and / or shoe voucher. Beginning the middle of October, students may also choose a new winter coat, hat and gloves. If your child needs a new outfit, you may contact Mrs. Schultz at 675-7521 ext. 235 to schedule an appointment. Remember, there are no income guidelines to “shop” at “My Closet”. If a parent feels his / her child needs a new outfit, the child qualifies. TCSC children Pre-K through HS Seniors are eligible to visit “My Closet”.
Due to the recent increase in COVID cases in the state and Tipton County, the following guidelines will be in place for the 2020 – 2021 school year in regards to parents and students visiting “My Closet”.
-Parents and students must wear a mask while shopping at “My Closet”. If parents do not have a mask, Mrs. Schultz will provide one.
-Temperatures will be taken and parents must fill out a questionnaire related to COVID 19. (This is required of all visitors.)
-Only 1 parent may accompany no more than 2 children per visit to “shop” at “My Closet”.
-Parents and students must use hand sanitizer before “shopping” at “My Closet”. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
-Trying on clothes while shopping will be done on a limited basis. (Some students who are harder to fit may need to try on clothing).
Appointments may be scheduled by contacting Mrs. Schultz beginning August 6, 2020.
