Truman Primary celebrates 10 years!

It's hard to believe that our school has been open for 10 years!

Our last year at Truman Elementary, as a PreK-5th grade building, our enrollment was over 1,000 students. Norman Public Schools owned the property our building sits on now and the idea of something new for our district and community was developed. Truman Elementary would be split into two buildings and with revenue from the bond issue passed in December 2007, plans were underway. Construction was completed in August of 2010 and our students have been "blazing trails" ever since!

Our staff, PTA and families have worked hard over the years to keep us united as a Truman family and it is always easy for us to say we are ONE TRUMAN, just in two buildings.

Parade Route

please check out the maps below of the route we will travel

you might have to walk to a main street in your neighborhood

Thank you for keeping a safe distance between your parade spot and the moving cars. We have quite a large route to cover, as you may have noticed if you had a chance to look at all the maps! Teachers will not be able to stop during the parade for safety reasons. We cannot WAIT to see you! If the weather does not cooperate and we have to cancel, we will send out information May 5. We will, of course, reschedule!
