FREE Vision & Hearing Screenings [3's, Pre-K, & Kindergarten]

On Thursday, 11/15 & Friday, 11/16, we will have MEDARVA come to WDS and perform **FREE** vision & hearing screenings on our 3's - K students!

These free mobile screenings are quick, non-invasive and always child-friendly. Designed for children ages 3 and older, it takes just a few minutes per child to complete. MEDARVA screening specialists strive to perform accurate screenings while making it fun for the children.

After the screenings are completed, MEDARVA provides the results -- either a "pass" or a "refer" status, with more information to take home to parent(s) and/or guardian(s).

IF you want your child to participate in this FREE screening, please fill out the below form and turn it into the office by Wednesday, 11/14!

WDS Closed for Christmas Break from Dec. 24th - Jan. 1st!

Join us as we 'Light Up WDS!' The school team is working to replace the lights for all classrooms throughout Westhampton Day School. Currently this project is estimated to cost $15,000 to replace 126 fixtures.

Soon, you will begin seeing hand-decorated holiday light bulb forms created by each WDS student. These keepsake creations will be treasureable for years to come. Your $15 donation for each bulb will help the school inch closer to the goal to 'Light Up WDS.'

Once the donation has been made, please have your child hang their bulb on the tree int he entryway of the school. During the last week of school, before the holiday break, the beautifully decorated light bulb goes home with your family!

As always, thank you for your support!
