Host a High School Exchange Student!

Hello Rossman families,

I am reaching out to you regarding two wonderful high school exchange students coming to the area in the fall. Perhaps you or someone you know would be interested in the opportunity to be a volunteer host family for the '23-'24 school year.

Our students will attend the public high school closest to their host family and can take school transportation or carpool. They speak English well and have their own medical insurance as well as their own spending money to cover their personal expenses. A volunteer host family simply puts another plate on the table and welcomes the student as one of their own! Host families can be retired, single parents, couples with or without children of any age, etc.

Here are notes from our students:

Behnosch is 18 years old from Germany, "I would say I‘m a very funny and goofy person. I love it when I see the people I Iove laughing! I think what makes me unique is that I always want to help people and I love it because the World would be a better place if we all would be kind to eachother. What I enjoy is music I would say that I couldn‘t live without music! I‘m also a Dancer and a Painter. I also like going to the gym! I love Animals!"

Emilio is 15 years old from Mexico, " I want to start this letter by greatly thanking the opportunity they give me to improve my English and learn more about their customs and way of life.

I really enjoy being outdoors, cycling, hiking and on rainy days playing cards or any board game. In summer we move to stay at our family beach house with some uncles and cousins. Some of my favorite and fun memories are there, because that's when we do water activities such as boat riding, skiing on a jet ski or enjoying a sea bath.I hope to be able to adapt quickly to the living conditions of your country, make friends my age and be a good son for your family."

Please feel free to share my contact information with anyone interested, r.lotvolaciee@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
