Upcoming Opportunities Through CBF Global
Peer Learning Groups
Peer Learning Groups (PLGs) provide an opportunity for ministers to form together, shaping one another through opportunities of worship, spiritual formation, discussion of ministry-related issues and fellowship. Currently, there are over 100 PLGs of 5-12 members. New groups are being formed and additional members are welcome.
Each group, facilitated by a convener, works collaboratively to determine the focus of their meetings and/or retreats. The Fellowship provides the groups with suggested resources related to promoting pastoral excellence and congregational health.
Mission Teams Needed
Place: Zweifelscheid, Germany (near Frankfurt, Cologne)
Come hang out with some very cool American kids in Germany for the week! We are in need of a cooking and childcare team for our multi-team meeting in Zweifelscheid, Germany.
Group size: We need 6 people to lead games and activities for the kids during meetings (and/or plan outings during these times) and to plan and prepare 2 to 3 meals a day for a group of 35-40 people. (So, maybe 4 people with the kids and 2 people cooking?) There will be a liaison to work with the cooking pair on food availability, etc. in Germany.
This support team would be housed across the street from the field personnel and their families. The room configuration is three rooms with two people in each room.
