Missing any Work?
Now that we are heading into summer, if your child needs to complete any missing work, please reach out to the following principals at SMS. They will be accepting work through the end of June. You may have your child send communication and work to them via their email. Most students only need to complete a few assignments so that they do not receive an incomplete or failing grade. If you have questions, please reach out so that we can close out the school year.

Honors Summer School 2020
For students taking honors courses at the middle school next year, please make sure to visit the webpage of the middle school to see if summer work is expected for that course. If you have any questions about this work, please contact Erin Green at eringreen@scsmustangs.org

The 2020 8th Grade Trip has been RESCHEDULED!
NEW DATE: APRIL 17th - 19th, 2021 (Monday, April 19th has been approved as an "excused" absence day by the district.)
** If you are currently registered, everything transfers over to the new dates, you do not have to do anything.
** If you are not registered and want to, please go to www.nowaktours.com to register your child for the trip. The registration ID is STRNDC2020
** If you are currently registered and cannot attend the new dates, please call or email Nowak Tours to handle your cancellation. 330-483-4900 / email @ support@nowaktours.com.
PAYMENT INFO: The new payment schedule for this trip is as follows: First payment 9/18, Second payment 11/6, and Final payment 2/7. Due to the new 2021 transportation rates, there is a minimal price increase of $27. This additional cost will be split and added to the 2nd and 3rd payment balances. Therefore, if you have already paid your 1st deposit, this payment will transfer over to the new date and you do not need to do anything.
TRIP INSURANCE: Due to these uncertain times, we recommend purchasing the trip insurance for your trip. The Trip Insurance must be purchased PRIOR to paying for the full trip balance. Insurance rates range from $31.50 - $37.50

If you are a student and moving out of district or a 8th grader transferring to a private school, please email Mrs Bendzuck @ pbendzuck@scsmustangs.org the following information:

Current Grade
New address of residence or if staying the same
New School Name and Address
Name of person making withdrawal and relationship to student.
All fees must be paid before records can be released to the new school.
