What Great Things Have Happened at Your School?

We Want to Include You in Our Newsletter!

What has been the most successful event or lesson at your school this year? We are looking for articles on best practices, successful activities, collaborations, professional learning, and more from our members. We also like to include photographs and even book reviews. The spring and fall newsletters are mailed to our members, shared with other organizations and sponsors, and are posted on our website. Educators who write articles are eligible to receive PGP points. Principals: please consider reaching out to some of your teachers and encourage them to share!

Congratulations to Lowell MS, the 1st Middle School in Indiana to Earn the Champions Together Banner!

Big picture
Jessica Bell, a former middle school ELL teacher (now at Warren Central HS), recently wrote this blog post recommending the website Talking Points. This website/app, free for teachers, will translate information into text messages in several different languages.

Educator Day at the State Museum, Saturday March 24

I attended the Educator Day last year, was fascinated by the tours of the State Museum, and ended up signing up for a field trip for my NJHS students. (Did you know that field trips to State Museum Sites are free for students?) Your admission is free, and family members are discounted for this day. Another plus: the Poison exhibit has been extended.
