Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Columbia Schools Parent/Caregiver Survey

What is SRTS? – Safe Routes to School (SRTS) initiatives aim to unite neighborhoods, ease traffic jams and air pollution, and contribute to student's readiness to learn in school

Purpose of SRTS

•To enable and encourage children, including those with disabilities, to walk and bike to school

•To make bicycling and walking to school a safer and more appealing transportation alternative, thereby encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age

•To facilitate planning, development, and implementation of projects/ activities that will improve safety and reduce traffic, fuel consumption, and air pollution in the vicinity of the school

Parent Survey- Your response to this parent survey will help the SRTS program to determine community perceptions, preferences, and trends in non-motorized transportation to and from school. The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
