Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Columbia Schools Parent/Caregiver Survey
What is SRTS? – Safe Routes to School (SRTS) initiatives aim to unite neighborhoods, ease traffic jams and air pollution, and contribute to student's readiness to learn in school
Purpose of SRTS
•To enable and encourage children, including those with disabilities, to walk and bike to school
•To make bicycling and walking to school a safer and more appealing transportation alternative, thereby encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age
•To facilitate planning, development, and implementation of projects/ activities that will improve safety and reduce traffic, fuel consumption, and air pollution in the vicinity of the school
Parent Survey- Your response to this parent survey will help the SRTS program to determine community perceptions, preferences, and trends in non-motorized transportation to and from school. The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete.

Attention Seniors interested in pursuing trade-related careers-
The Jackson Commercial Contractors Association is hosting a free dinner event at Cascade Manor House on Wednesday, February 8th at 5pm. Senior students need to RSVP by January 30th by completing the link below and also need to bring a few copies of their current resumes.
This event is intended to give senior students insight into trade-related careers and network with local businesses for potential job opportunities. Furthermore, students can schedule interviews with companies for employment after graduation to advance their careers.
Seniors-Don't miss this opportunity, complete the FAFSA!
The Michigan Achievement Scholarship is NEW STATE FINANCIAL AID starting with the Class of 2023....giving low- and middle-income students a nice amount of money towards college, but the catch is that the FAFSA MUST BE COMPLETED...let's go get those FAFSA's completed so we can support families in making post-secondary education more affordable with less debt!
