Hello Centerview Families,
Homecoming week is always fun and full of great interest. The weeklong excitement runs across Spring Lake Park Schools! That’s been the case so far for our students at Centerview and they love it. Nothing like starting your Monday morning off in PJ’s at school!
Tuesday was color day. I walked out the door with gray pants and a gray sweater. Normal enough for me, but not for my wife and daughters who provide me with much direction as to what I wear each day. Once they knew it was homecoming week, they gave me a pass. Tomorrow is 80’s day! Now, I’m ready for that! Can’t wait to see our students try to keep up with their principal who LIVED the 80’s!
Thanks for your efforts in supporting Centerview with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsored $5 from 5 people FUNdraiser. We’ve had envelopes trickling in over the last few days which is great! The turn in date is Tuesday, October 4 and our scheduled celebration FUN RUN will be on Thursday, October 6. Below you can find your student’s schedule for the FUN RUN. If you have any questions, please call the office.

Strengthened Student Supports
As a new year gets underway, a full continuum of supports is available in our schools to support students’ academic, social, emotional and behavior development and needs.
After two years of disrupted, pandemic learning, addressing academic gaps and supporting students’ development and well-being are top of mind. The district has taken a unique path. To create a more integrated approach, the team has brought curriculum and instruction together with special education and student services. This strengthened continuum of supports recognizes that each child has a unique combination of needs and strengths.
For the academic as well as the social, emotional and behavioral, there is a core set of instructional practices that all students experience. For students who show a need, there are also targeted services as well as individual supports.

It's Homecoming week, and we are having a blast! Today was Hat Day!
