PSSA Parent Information

Central Bucks is proud of the achievement of our students, and would like to ensure we are giving parents the most current information available regarding testing. As the testing window approaches in April, please take the time to visit our web page and click on the link "PSSA Information for Parents" This page provides links to assessment results and to information about some of the assessments administered to students across the district.

Congratulations to Our Reading Olympians . . .

This year Titus had four teams compete in the Bucks County Reading Olympics. For months, the teams worked hard to prepare for the competition; often giving up their recess to attend a meeting. All of their practice and dedication paid off last week! Each team earned the highest tier of points, and ALL four teams brought home a blue ribbon!!!

Congratulations to The Mean Green Reading Machines (Top Left) , PAWSitive Page Flippers (Top Right), Reading Rebels (Bottom Right), and Renegade Readers (Bottom Left)!

titushsa.com Needs You!

The Home & School Association needs a new “webmaster” to update TitusHSA.com. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for a mom or dad who’s good with technology—but not necessarily a “techy.” The site has a simple system for adding graphics and updating text (no coding involved). If you’re frequently at a computer and can squeeze in a few minutes here and there, you can be a BIG help to Titus. It’s a great way to make a difference without having to come into the school, and there’s no better way to stay in the loop with what’s happening with Home & School. Interested in learning more?

If interested, please reach out to Susan Murphy or Mr. Cashman, who can give you a tour of the system and help you get up and running for the 2016-2017 school year.

Campbell's - Labels for Education

It looks as though Campbell's is winding down their Labels for Education program. We will continue to collect all Cambell's labels until the end of the year. Please reach out to all family and friends and also check you cupboards for any labels you might have on hand and send them into the school along with your box tops.

Thank you to Melanie Noll for all the hard work you have done submitting the labels for education on behalf of our school!

Box Tops Are Heating Up . . .

We did outstanding for the month of March with our box top collections , we collected 4,687 box tops! A big Congratulations to Mrs. Wallace's 3rd grade class who sent in the most box tops with 446. It's worth mentioning that Mrs. VanVreede's 6th grade class was close behind with 439.

We had a great time celebrating in Miss Brennan's 2nd grade class, who won the Make Your Own Sundae contest and enjoyed their party on April 1st. The kids had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Cashman, who was there helping serve up the whipped cream!

The Rita's Water Ice Contest standings are below. This contest continues until the end of May, and every class is doing great so please continue to send in those box tops!

  • 1st place - Mrs. Duffy's 5th grade class
  • 2nd place - Miss Anderson's 4th grade class
  • 3rd place - Miss Brennan's 2nd grade class
  • 4th place - Mrs. VanVreede's 6th grade class

Board Positions Available . . .

The next Home & School Meeting will be on April 19th at 7:00 PM. Our Board needs your help to continue to serve this great school of ours! We are seeking parents to fill two exciting positions on our Board - Assistant Treasurer and Co-Vice President. We are all here to work together as a team so no one has to worry about working independently in any of these positions.

We would like to have name submissions at our meeting on April 19th. If anyone is interested or would like more information, please contact Wanda Rumford.
