Student Recognition Programs for End of Year

Grades 1-4 Awards Programs

Invitations will be distributed early next week. Only students who receive an invitation will receive a certificate at the program. If your family is not able to attend, we will deliver certificates to students in classrooms.

  • Grades 1 & 2 - Thursday, May 18, 2023 - 8:00 AM, MPR
  • Grades 3 & 4 - Friday, May 19, 2023 - 8:00 AM, MPR


Kindergarten & Grade 5 Promotion Programs

Promotion programs will be held for students in Kindergarten and Grade 5. Each student will receive two tickets for family members to attend. Tickets will be sent home with students early next week. Please keep these tickets in a safe location prior to the promotion ceremony. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide additional tickets to students as we have limited seating available in the MPR for the program. We plan on providing a live stream of the event for those who are not able to attend. Students will also be recognized for awards during the promotion ceremony. Additional information regarding the promotion ceremony will be shared next week.

Interest In CCSD Pre-K Program Participation

CCSD has updated the process for expressing interest in students attending Pre-K programs. We will no longer be using the interest form that was previously shared with the registration packet. Now, families must complete an interest form available HERE. Please sign up as soon as possible if you are interested in this opportunity for your pre-school aged child.

Reminder - Registration for 2023-2024 School Year Now Open

Online registration (OLR) in Infinite Campus for the 2023-2024 school year has opened. A packet of information has been sent home with students and is available online as well. It is very important that all families complete online registration for the upcoming school year! To access information online, please CLICK HERE.

REMINDER: Screen Your Child's Health Before School Each Day

Families are required to check their child's health each morning before coming to school.


Any student determined to be exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 will be sent home immediately from the school's satellite health office. Should isolation and/or quarantine protocols need to be enacted, follow all guidelines for isolation and mandatory mask wearing periods.

Event Information

Final Day of School - Early Release

  • The final day of school is Monday, May 22, 2023.
  • The school day will begin at the usual time, and there will be an early dismissal this day at 12:30 p.m. Half-Day Pre-K programs will follow the schedule provided to them.
  • Buses will run in the morning and at dismissal at 12:30 p.m.
  • Breakfast will be served. Lunch will NOT be served this day.
  • Safekey will be available in the morning. Safekey will NOT be available in the afternoon.
  • Report cards will be distributed to students at dismissal.
  • No backpacks are allowed to be brought to school on May 22, 2023.
