Vaccinations

What advantages to vaccines provide?

Vaccines create immunity to the virus that the vaccine is design to combat. When many people have been vaccinated it helps everyone. This is because of herd immunity. When a majority of the public is immune to a virus it is much less likely for there to be an outbreak of the virus.

Why are some parents anti-vaccine?

There are an ever growing number of parents who do not vaccinate their children because of potential health risks. Many of them believe vaccines cause autism yet no evidence of this being true.

Statistics

The amount of infections from preventable diseases is growing and has been for a couple of years.

The decision

I believe that for religious beliefs parents should not have to admit their children to vaccinations but, for all others must have a required vaccination of current viruses. The benefits are great and the only downside is one that has not even been proven.
