USO Northwest
May 2021 Newsletter

The USO 1941 Legacy Society recognizes those friends of the USO who make a gift through a will, trust or other estate plan to continue the USO's long tradition of connecting service members back to family, home and country.
The generosity, dedication and patriotism of our 1941 Legacy Society members allows the USO to continue its mission. We deliver critical programs and services that promote a healthy, resilient, confident and prepared military as our dedicated service members continue to deploy far from their communities and family.
Among the benefits of membership include:
- Exclusive invitations to VIP events
- Exclusive invitations to USO educational and programmatic seminars
- Recognition on the USO's planned giving website
- Subscription to the USO eNewsletter
- Special USO Legacy Society pin
You can join the USO 1941 Legacy Society by contacting Tim Bogle at tbogle@uso.org.

The USO T-shirt campaign celebrates important members of the military community, the military supporter. At the USO, we are grateful for these supporters because they understand and appreciate the sacrifices that our service members and their families make daily and are always ready to step up and give more than thanks to help the USO’s mission to strengthen our Armed Forces.
Each year, the USO asks service members around the world to vote and select the unique t-shirt design. The 2021 t-shirt was designed by award-winning graphic designer, American flag collector and former Marine Corps Reservist, Kit Hinrichs. The campaign runs during Military Appreciation Month, from May 1-31, 2021.
USO supporters who donate $29+ during the campaign, receive the shirt as a token of our appreciation and as the Official Uniform of the Military Supporter. Get your shirt and wear it proudly as a military supporter and show the world that you have helped give more than thanks to our deserving service members and their families.
Join in and then help spread the word to encourage others to proudly show their support for our troops during Military Appreciation Month. Click here to make your donation and get your shirt – then share on social media to let friends, family and communities know about this fun and easy way to give more than thanks to service members and military families.

Put your fitness efforts toward a good cause and join Team USO Northwest to be a Force Behind the Forces® by registering to run, jog, walk, or bike with us. In addition to receiving a USO t-shirt, race medal, and race bib, your registration and support will directly impact the service men, women and families that sacrifice so much for this great nation.
Be sure to register early to ensure you receive registration materials in time for the race!
