Book Exchange
Last call! If you'd like to purchase a book through Scholastic for the book exchange or as a gift, please place your order by tomorrow night. I'll need to finalize the order so they are here in time.
If you are purchasing a book on your own, books will be due next Friday. The books correlate with our Spotlight Night requirements which include a book that looks funny, a book written over 100 years ago, or a book that takes you somewhere you have never been. Book orders will be coming home withing the next few days so feel free to take a look. Please don't feel this is a financial burden as I know it is an expensive time of year. 7ish dollars is just fine. Your child will then come home with a new book to read over winter break!
Books are Gifts
If you would like to purchase books for your child via the Scholastic book order, just let m know. When the books arrive, I will be sure to contact you and place them at the main office for you to pick up. Shhh.. I'll keep it a surprise. :)
Winter Party
Our Winter Party is coming up! It will take place at 9:30 on Friday, December 21. Mrs. Melliere will be creating a sign up, so be on the lookout for the link.
PJ Drive
The kindergartners are collecting warm pajamas for The Villages, Indiana's largest not-for-profit child and family services agency. If you'd like to donate, please send in a new pair of jammies for any age by December 7. Guidelines include: they must be brand new, they must be a complete set or nightgown, and flame-retardant.
PJ Day-This Friday!
This Friday is pajama day to support our kindergartners as they collect pjs for The Villages. I LOVE days like this. I typically shower and then put my pajamas right back on. :)
Winter Fest
Next Thursday is the annual Winter Fest! Come out out to the school for fun and games. You may even win a new sled for the winter. Be sure to look at the sign up to help donate items or time in Mrs. Raycroft's newsletter.
Absence
I will be at a conference December 9-10 and a guest teacher will be teaching the kiddos those days. Please let the main office know if there are any changes in transportation.
