The Eight Pillars For Success: Responsibility

As we begin the new school year here at Riverbend Middle School, students in their Tribe classes, learned MVR-3's "Pillars for Success". Students practiced how to show and be responsible by caring for an egg while doing simple tasks. Students broke into small groups and reflected on the difficulties that may arise when trying to be responsible. Next, students will explore creativity, critical thinking and resilience.

BETA Club at RB

All members should check your email for a link to the Google Classroom. If your link does not work, we will fix that the first meeting. Remember that our September service project: Please bring in a box of tissues, sanitizing wipes, paper towels, cough drops, or Band-aides for all our students to use. You will need to bring in at least 2 of these items. Turn them into your Tribe teacher or the nurse, then turn in the assignment here (in Google Classroom) to receive your service credit. This is due by September 30th.

All 8th grade vaccines are overdue at this time.

All 8th grade students are required by the state to have a Tdap and Meningococcal vaccine or have an exemption on file from their doctor.

Please call your doctor and have records faxed to Riverbend 636-271-1485 or make an appointment.

Please keep the school nurse informed.
