CHS's DECA chapter off to a strong start
Our DECA students recently participated in their first competition and to say they did well would be an understatement. We had multiple students qualify for the state-level competitions, and several took first place in the challenge group. The future is bright for our DECA program.

Handbook Highlights- Academic Integrity
We felt it was important to highlight our academic integrity expectations. In the age of shared electronic materials and online course content, the lines between collaboration and plagiarism can be confusing for students. CHS maintains the following expectations related to academic integrity:
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
Canton High School expects all students to take responsibility for their own learning and act with the utmost integrity. Plagiarism and cheating of any kind are against our core values and will result in academic and/or disciplinary consequences. Academic integrity violations include, but are not limited to, submitting another’s work as your own and collaborating on and/or sharing work that is intended to assess one’s individual knowledge either in person, electronically, or through social media. Students are advised to take extreme precautions when sharing electronic documents with others. Documents should be shared only with approval from the teacher.
CHS Athletic Department- News and Schedules
The CHS Athletics Blog is a great resource for checking in and staying on top of the various teams and events. Athletic Director Danny Erickson maintains the blog with up-to-date information, resources, and helpful links. I encourage you to bookmark the blog for continued reference.
