You need associates degree, in the field of first aid and nursing care. That is four years of college you need to take of becoming a vet tech.

Job Detail

Helping with drawing blood, helping in surgery, prescribing medications to the animal. Giving drugs during surgery,and making diagnoses.


On Average i can make upwards of $29,000 in a year but it depends on the Vet your are working for. Different vets pay higher than others ,becuease of what they know.
