Shurandia Holden, Principal

From the Desk of Shurandia Holden

Hello Boggess Bengals,

What a great week we have had at Boggess. Students participated in Book Fair Week activities and we celebrated Veterans Day.

Thank you to all of the students who entered the Veteran’s Day Writing Contest. We read some amazing essays! See photos of the winners below.
I hope many of you viewed our virtual Veterans Day Celebration. We were so happy that several veterans were able to join us during our zoom call. You will be able to hear our winners from the Veterans Day Writing contest read their entries and hear selections of music from our 3rd graders. We are honored to celebrate such great men and women serving or who have served our country. We have included the link to the presentation below.

Students have been enjoying the Boggess Book Fair. To see their faces light up as they choose books and other items is awesome. Thank you so much to PTA and all of the volunteers who helped make it a success. Don’t forget you can still purchase books online through Wednesday, November 18th.

Be sure to look for student Progress Reports to come home on Thursday, November 18th.

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving break which will be November 22nd – November 26th..
