Weekly Update
It was a wonderful week at Foothills! This week students worked hard to begin wrapping up unit 1 in math. It is has been so fun watching student persevere through problem solving and mental math. This week students also began their walk to read groups. Walk to read provides students the opportunity to get reading instruction based on the skills they need most at their level. Staff are hard at work developing lessons to meet the needs of every Falcon!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Change of Dismissal Plan
- If you need to change the end of day dismissal plan for your child please call the office by 2:30 to ensure that we have adequate time to get the information to your child's teacher. You can call the office at (360) 829-3355.
- Please be sure to let the office know if you will be parking to pick up your student or if you will be going through car pick up. The locations are different and we want to make sure we have your child in the correct location. Thank you for your help with this!
Helpful
Our character trait of the month for October is Helpful.
Being helpful means you notice something that needs to be done, and you do it without being asked, such as putting your neighbor's pencil away for them.
Being helpful also looks like offering to help someone if they need it. If someone seems to be struggling, you make an effort to help.
Being helpful can look like putting away supplies or reminding someone to walk quietly in the hall with a silent signal.
