Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Westside Fun Run! It’s a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 8. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on October 18. With our big goal of raising $11,000 for playground upgrades, technology, and yearly FAST events, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.
Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB! Boosterthon’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, our students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.
Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!
If you would like to help with the event, please contact Kristina Richter, F.A.S.T. president, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Westside FAST is now on Facebook!
Westside F.A.S.T. has started a Facebook page in order to keep parents informed. Please join!
This is a closed group, so you need to search "Westside Elementary FAST Norfolk, NE". Once you see the name and image above, join the group. You will have to request access, so your status as a Westside parent can be verified.
Once your status is verified, you will be able to view the Westside Elementary FAST page and will be informed on events that FAST sponsors throughout the year.
- It will be used to communicate about upcoming events.
- It will be used to get positive input on different things you think might help us.
- It will never be used for drama or in a negative way. You may send a private message to us that is in good taste and be respectful.
- Please invite other parents that have a child or children at Westside Elementary.
- It will be used for FAST events, not necessarily for school events that aren't FAST related.
You can now collect Box Tops using their app!
Office Max will give Westside 5% back, if you use our school ID! ID : 70064330
Continue to scan your receipts into Shoparoo and earn money for Westside! In October 2017, we received a check for $93.44. Thank you!
