Box Tops

Each class is trying to collect 1,500 box tops this school year to earn a pizza party! There are several prizes awarded along the way, as well. Please collect your box tops and send them to school. Our FAST members will be counting them and sending them in for money they are able to spend on items for school. The bulletin board below will be tracking their progress. They will earn pizza slices throughout the year. Thank you!

Fundraiser 2018-2019

Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Westside Fun Run! It’s a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 8. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on October 18. With our big goal of raising $11,000 for playground upgrades, technology, and yearly FAST events, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB! Boosterthon’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, our students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.

Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!

If you would like to help with the event, please contact Kristina Richter, F.A.S.T. president, at krichter08@hotmail.com.

Westside FAST is now on Facebook!

Welcome to the Westside Elementary FAST Facebook page. This is a great way for us to communicate with all of you on what is going on! A few ways this page will be used and not used:

  1. It will be used to communicate about upcoming events.
  2. It will be used to get positive input on different things you think might help us.
  3. It will never be used for drama or in a negative way. You may send a private message to us that is in good taste and be respectful.
  4. Please invite other parents that have a child or children at Westside Elementary.
  5. It will be used for FAST events, not necessarily for school events that aren't FAST related.
