Our outstanding school community is filled with students, staff, and families that continue to work to grow what we have created in our environments. Together we overcome hurdles and continue to work to make each day better. I thank you for your support and dedication.

Please remember classes start their morning work cycle promptly at 8:15. Being tardy can alter a student's ability to get their day started well.
Staff Spolight
Ms. Mackenzie - School Counselor
Her many duties include but are not limited to:
Strives to promote a positive and safe school climate for ALL students.
Assists students in achieving academic, personal, social/emotional and career success.
Meets individually with students to discuss challenges they might be experiencing.
Facilitates small group sessions in a variety of themes such as: study/organization skills, friendship/social skills, self-esteem building, anger management, stress management & healthy living, Diversity/Tolerance of others, etc.
Conducts classroom guidance lessons that are evidenced based and that align with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Standards.
Collaborates with parents, teachers, administration, support staff and community stakeholders to ensure student success
Provides a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental environment where students feel open to sharing.
Supports 8th-grade students with the transition to high school.
School Liason for McKinney-Vento requirements
Ms. Mackenzie enjoys Yoga and Mindfulness which she incorporates into her teaching and works with our students. She has a sweet puppy that she enjoys spending time with. We appreciate all that she is able to do for our students and our staff!
