News and Notes

Dear Parents,

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe it is June 1st! Thank you so much to the Parents' Guild for organizing our Family Bingo night on Friday. It was so much fun and I enjoyed seeing everybody. We will be doing it again, so if you were not able to join us on Friday, there will be more opportunities.

As we get closer to the end of the year, I wanted to let you know that I will be continuing my newsletters throughout the Summer. I usually stop sending them out after the last day of school and begin again in August. This Summer, however, I want to keep in contact with you and update you as things are formalized and planned. As I said in my Sunday Notes yesterday, please know that the faculty and I are working together to plan for next year. We may not know what it will look like yet, but we do know that your children's educatioal and emotional needs will be forefront in our minds as we plan.

Today is the last day to save $100 on the registration fee for each child. You will be able to register after this date, but without the discount. It is very important that we have accurate numbers for planning for next year as we are actively preparing.

As we look ahead to the end of the year, we have some fun days ahead of us. Friday, June 12th is "Moving Up Day", where each class will have a zoom with their next year's teacher. Your current teacher will send a zoom link out on that day. During this zoom, your children will meet their teacher and talk about supplies needed and any summer work. Tuesday, June 16th, is Field Day! We will be having a virtual field day and there will be no academic classes that day. Friday, June 19th is our last day of school and we have something exciting planned. There will be no academic classes that day! Report Cards will go out digitally at 1pm.

Thank you and have a wonderful week!
