PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
As we continue to educate and learn during the last 20 days of the school year, planning and preparation are in full swing behind the scenes for next school year. We are always reflecting on our learning and our safety practices. As you know about 2 months ago we started leaving the main door locked before dismissal to help the office staff ensure we know who is entering the building at the end of the day to increase security.
Next year we will be doing more to update our security. One thing we will be doing is moving our office location to the current community room. This will enable the office staff a direct line of sight into the parking lot. With that change we will be adjusting our end of the day dismissal procedures. Please be sure to read the document coming home today about the changes. We will be implementing the changes for the last 3 weeks of school so we can work out any bugs that may happen with this change. Please be patient as we work through these changes to help ensure the safety of all children, staff, and parents.
As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns you have regarding your child.
Mrs. Michalski
Summer School 2018
Remember classes are listed with grades for the CURRENT year, so look for classes which your child is in now.
Summer School invoices will be sent home via your child the week of 5/14/18. We would like all classes paid for prior to the start of the first week of summer school. (6/11/18)
Paying for summer classes will be online this year like paying for a food balance or an activity fee. Once you register for classes in Skyward, you will be able to print your bill from eFunds so you know what to pay. You will also be able to go right into the payment section to pay your bill.
Be sure to also fill out forms for Busing and KidsStation. Advanced registration needs to occur for both of these areas for us to plan for proper staffing each week.
