Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15
National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries.
During this month and throughout the year, the National Park Service created a resource to share history, heritage, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latino Americans of past and present. BBCHS encourages you to visit the exhibits and collections celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. http://www.hispanicheritagemonth.gov/exhibits-and-collections/
Be sure to read about the events and activities taking place throughout the County to highlight the contributions of Hispanics to the nation and local community.

No students on campus before 7am.
All students must exit campus immediately at the final bell.
Flu Shots
Health officials encourage everyone to protect themselves against the flu virus by getting vaccinated. While flu shots are not available through schools, it's important for parents and District staff to be aware of how to find flu shots for children and adults at low or no cost.
Flu vaccines can be administered at a variety of places such as private physician’s offices, walk-in clinics, pharmacies, and health departments. The Florida Department of Health has a flu shot locator available on its website, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) also has a locator to find the nearest office or clinic. Visit VaccineFinder.org.
For those with health insurance, there is generally no co-pay for a flu shot. Parents and staff should contact their insurance provider to see whether the vaccine is covered under their insurance plan.
Parents and staff without insurance can take their children to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or a Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County office.
