Fun Run rescheduled
Due to many illnesses this week, PTA elected to postpone the 3rd Annual Go Go Gator Fun Run.
The fun run will be held on Friday, March 22nd. This tradition has increased awareness for living a healthy lifestyle and raises money to allow us to enhance our school to promote physical fitness. The past two year's donations have allowed the PTA to install water bottle fillers to the school, a new sound system for the gym, and indoor and outdoor recess equipment. This year our goal is $20,000! Depending on how much is raised, the donations will be used to purchase new playground music equipment, replace the soccer goals, fix the outdoor water fountain and possibly add more dry space for the kids to play on wet days.
All of the students will participate in the Go Go Gator Fun Run at school on Friday, March 22th but the donations will be accepted until March 25th. There is information on the website for Employer Match donations if your company offers that program.
We will give pedometers to all students who register and collect at least $10 in donations and a second prize for any student that becomes a Pledge Superstar by raising $150 or more. The classes will also compete for top performance in the grade level! Registration is easy, follow the link below. Once registered, spread the word by sending your student's personal link with their fundraising goal to family and friends that want to help our school encourage healthy lifestyles!
