What Is Stress?
Stress is a feeling that's created when we react to particular events. It's the body's way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and heightened alertness.
The Three Stages of Stress
RESISTANCE: In the second stage, if exposure to stress continues, resistance begins. Your body begins to adapt & react, & you may even preform at a higher level & with more endurance for a brief period of time.
FATIGUE: The third stage of stress is fatigue. If exposure to stress continues, your body will slowly lose it's ability to adapt. You will begin to tire & lose the ability to manage other stressors effectively.
