Wolverine Weekly
Sunday, October 18
This week is Digital Citizenship Week! Wilder has worked hard to support our students in gaining the skills and strategies needed to be a successful digital citizen during the opening of our virtual nine weeks. Students have worked on digital citizenship lessons with their Advisory teachers during the month of September and beginning of October. Our work with digital citizenship will continue as we move through the 2020-2021 school year. The digital world is sometimes confusing and hard to navigate, but don’t worry, we are here to help! We wanted to share some great resources to support your family at the start of this year’s Digital Citizenship Week. Please check out the resources on the flyer below along with other news for the week!
Thank you for your support!

After-school tutoring update!
Our students are doing a great job signing up for math tutoring! For this week, we are changing the ELA program. Mrs. Woods, Reading Specialist, has assigned specific skills for our tutors to review during the 2:00-3:00 hour with students who sign in. We will just be encourage students to show up for the specific skill that they need further support. This means that more than one student will participate in the sessions. The topics for this week are as follows:
- 8th Grade Writing
- Cause and Effect
- Theme/Point of View
- Characterization/Plot/Conflict
Please contact your student's ELA teacher if you would like to discuss these options!
