PHS Update
November 6th, 2017
Big Week Ahead!
This week, we are prepping for our soon-to-be 9th graders visiting from PJHS, Cherry Valley, Cinnabar, Live Oak, Harvest Christian, McKinley PACS, and elsewhere. The students will arrive at 9AM on the morning of the 14th and 16th and tour the school. On the evening of the 14th starting at 6pm in the gym, parents and students will go on a similar school tour and see and hear about specific programs at PHS. This is our 9th Grade Preview (we will not be hosting a night in January) so we hope you will be here that evening to welcome prospective students and parents and show the Trojan Way.
PTSA meeting tonight; this Wednesday is a PLN/PLC day; Veterans Days Holiday recognized on Friday - NO SCHOOL. Enjoy the long weekend...
Homecoming in the Books; Streetcar Revving Up
We want to draw special attention to a survey we need your help on. As we build our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) as a district, we need your voice. Please check out the article in this update on LCAP and click, complete the survey, and add your voice.
Don't forget a special invitation to our production of A Streetcar Named Desire playing the next two weeks. Opening night is this Thursday - doors at 6:30pm, showtime at 7pm. Come see the Troy Performers' interpretation.
On a somber note, flags will be at half staff in memory of those who lost their lives in Sutherland Springs, Texas yesterday.

Trojan Football Hitting the Road in NCS First Round
The Trojans know they have their work cut out for them. Last week, Acalanes got by an excellent Miramonte team and the previous week handled Campolindo, the #1 seed in Division 2. But this group has a lot of heart and Coach Krist and his staff will have them ready to go.
Let's go Trojans!
