Raeder, Erich
commander in German Navy
Evidence he was convicted on
Raeder advocated attacks by submarines on neutral ships in violation of international law.
Punishment for his crimes
Raeder Was sentenced to life in prison but because of bad health He only served nine years and was released in 1955. He died five years later at the age of 84.
My opinion
I don't feel that he punishment was great enough. I think the he go out easy because he only had to serve nine years in prison even though his punishment was life in prison. I don't think he should have been killed but I do think they should have kept him in prison until he died and that they should have stuck with his normal punishment.
