GRADES 1-8 CHRISTMAS SERVICE INFORMATION
Saturday, December 16, is the Grades 1-8 Christmas Service
at 3:30 & 5:30 pm.
Because of possible parking and seating congestion, we are encouraging parents whose child's last name ends in A-L attend the 3:30 pm service, while the parents whose child's last name ends in M-Z attend the 5:30 pm service. The children are expected to attend both services. More details follow:
- You may arrive as early as 2:00 pm for the first service and 4:30 pm for the second service. For the first service, children are to sit with their parents until 3:10 pm, at which time they should report to their classrooms.
- Children will receive a snack in their classrooms between the services.
- Pre-service music will start at 2:45 pm for first service & 5:00 pm for the second service. Once the pre-service music begins, we ask that out of courtesy to the musicians, you listen quietly and silence your cell phones.
- Pictures may be taken by the Christmas tree at the following times: 2:00-2:30 & 4:30-4:50, or after the 2nd service.
- Students are to be picked up in their classrooms immediately after the 2nd service.

GRADE 5-8 CHRISTMAS CANVASSING
Christmas Cards Shared by TLS Grades 5-8 on 12/18
Our Evangelism Commission chairman Jason Scherer & Chairman Ted Oertel joins Pastor Oelhafen in helping TLS Grades 5-8 share their faith this Christmas. They will gather in the sanctuary on 12/18 at 3:05 pm for Evangelism training, prayer, and answering any questions (parents are welcome as well). Then, each student will be given a packet of 10 Trinity Christmas postcards (with Christmas service times) to hand deliver/mail to their family, friends, or neighbors later that day. If the student can’t think of anyone, we’d gently encourage students to simply hand deliver them to 10 homes on their street safely walking with their parents as chaperones (put in the screen door if no one is home).
We’ll gather back in the church sanctuary on the morning of 12/19 to discuss how God blessed their efforts. We pray this will help each student better understand how easy and important it is to personally share our faith with others. Extra Christmas cards are available in church office if you’d like to deliver more (one Trinity family just asked for 100 cards to deliver to homes in their neighborhood). In the past our TLS students have been amazing Christian witnesses.
Let’s be Christmas angels to share the good news of the Savior’s birth with people we’d like to see in heaven. Thanks in advance from our Trinity Evangelism Commission for your support and prayers. For more info, contact Jason Scherer at 414-517-8373.

HELP OUR WAUKESHA NEIGHBORS WITH FOOD BARRELS
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus as part of our Good Samaritan effort to benefit our Waukesha Food Pantry. From now until 12/31, please bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items (such as cereal, canned foods, mac & cheese, etc.) to help feed our 1,200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Contact Elder Linus Bell for more info: 262-501-0546. Our Savior has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Thanks for your kind support!
