About the Workshop:
Some schools have very little data to use in making instructional decisions, while other schools have an abundance of data. Regardless, many educators have said, “We have data, but we aren’t using it to change student learning.” This half-‐ day workshop is designed to provide educators with effective strategies in turning data into instructional practices that make a difference for all students.
Outcomes:
As a result of attending , participants will:
- Demonstrate the ability to organize data for effective use in developing student-‐centered lessons.
- Understand that monitoring data leads to improved decision-‐making.
- Demonstrate the ability to be critical users of data in all instructional settings and decision-‐making to improve pedagogy.
About the Presenter:
Robert Hanson is an education consultant specializing in the areas of Response to Instruction, Data Usage to Improve Student Outcomes, Common Core State Standards, and School Leadership.
He has worked in the public school setting for more than 25 years as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, and curriculum coordinator. Rob is an adjunct professor at Merrimack College. He teaches educators how to create effective data systems in their districts, schools, and programs. As an education consultant and coach, he has worked in hundreds of schools and classrooms throughout New Hampshire.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's Degree in Educational Supervision and Leadership from Notre Dame College.
Rob lives in Strafford NH with his wife Tracy and daughters Lauryn and Brianna. When Rob isn't working supporting districts, schools, or teachers, he enjoys reading, working out, and having a good time.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation should be made in writing. A full refund will be made for cancellations postmarked, or sent via email, 7 days before the event.
No refunds will be given for requests received after 7 days before the event, or for "no shows". We do accept substitution of another person at our conference. 24 hours of notification is appreciated.
All received registrations are subject to Cancellation/Refund policy. Cost of registration fee is still liable whether payment is paid or unpaid, if no notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to the event.
If minimum requirement enrollment is not met prior to the early registration deadline, the event may be postponed or canceled.
