The Gift of Giving
Our gift of giving to others is priceless.
- help others eg. snow shovelling, picking up groceries for someone who can't go to the store
- making time for others by calling/FaceTime
- give thank you cards
- leave a positive message on people's windshields
Caught in the Matrix - Monthly student recognition of students doing the right thing when no one is looking. Each month we will recognize one student from every class and on the bus. The student will have their picture taken then placed on the front lobby bulletin board and receive a prize. We are very proud of our students living the school pledge each day.

Fundraising is still ongoing for our zero barrier, fully inclusive playground as well as replacement chrome books, classroom supplies and anything else that may be needed in the future. This year we have given the school a $2000 discretionary fund and will be installing an outdoor Gaga Ball Pit this week. We will also be providing a staff appreciation lunch during the last week of school before the break.
This year's DFS fundraiser profit was $4300. Thank you to everyone that supported this fundraising event.
The 50/50 Fundraiser Draw DEADLINE is Thurs., Dec.2 at midnight. The jackpot is growing so don’t forget to buy your tickets before the Dec. 3 draw. Click here to purchase a ticket online.
The Save-On Foods fundraiser is ongoing, please continue to submit your receipts in store to ensure your purchases are credited to JSS.
In the new year we will be organizing a Rolling Hills Coffee fundraiser.

There will be NO School Council meeting in December. The next School Council Virtual Meeting will be on Jan. 26 at 7 pm, immediately followed by the JSS Parents' Society Meeting. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Get updates, ask questions and have your voice heard.
