Big picture

Welcome Back!

We realize that everyone is headed back to school this year in uniquely different ways. Please know that the gifted education team of ESC Region 12 is here to support you in a variety of ways. Our aim is to send this newsletter monthly with updates, critical information pertaining to gifted education, and resources for teaching gifted students. This year is going to be a different year, but in the world of gifted, different simply means unique. Unique opportunities provide us the chance to break the mold and produce something greater than ever before!

Designing Meaningful Learning Experiences

"This school year will be unlike anything we've known or experienced before. Instead of knowing what to expect and how to plan, many educators are still trying to imagine what any of this will look like and remain uncertain how to even begin planning." - Andi McNair

Andi has designed a framework for those that are designing in-class and/or at-home learning experiences. This framework takes into consideration both meaning for the student and manageability for the educator.
