Childcare for "Essential Workers"
We know that the COVID-19 crisis and closing of school has caused many disruptions for our families, particularly related to finding adequate childcare. We are currently working with the FEH BOCES to assist families of essential health care workers and first responders to find open childcare placements with local county and current licensed daycare providers. Essential health care workers may include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, LPNs, nurse assistants, or lab personnel. First responders may include paramedics, EMTs, police officers, and firefighters. If you are an essential health care worker or first responder and need assistance with childcare, please call 518-483-6420 option 9, or send an email to email@example.com
Dr. Miller's PsychNotes
Below is a nice “info-graphic” that Tina Clark, our Student Support Counselor, came across. We are not sure who made it or we would give them credit. It is definitely worth a look.
Reminder, you can check out Dr. Miller's coping support page here. His site has information and links to pages to help with general coping strategies and tips on managing stress and worry.
Transcending Social Distance: LPMHS Art Gallery
Don't forget! Students and staff can still share their creativity and personal expression by emailing any artwork to Mr. Robinson for the online art gallery found here.
Once the artwork is uploaded, you will receive an Artsonia permission request via email. The artwork will not be viewable unless permission is granted.
Please email Mrs. McConvey at firstname.lastname@example.org in the library for any upcoming opportunities.
**Please note Community Service forms are now available online on the school's website. Check it out at the link below.**
