Given current COVID-19 health metrics and following a discussion at the December 14th board of education meeting, District 47 will begin a return to hybrid learning next week. Hybrid learning consists of modified, in-person instruction and remote learning. To ensure adequate staffing levels across the district, students will be brought back gradually to our schools, starting with our youngest learners.

We are excited to share that the Illinois State Board of Education Nutrition Department and the U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced that breakfast and lunch will be available to all students at no charge through June 30, 2021.
In-person students will continue to be offered “grab-and-go” style sack breakfast/ lunches at school at the end of each day. Families of remote students can pick up a week's worth of meals on Tuesdays from 3-6pm at Hannah Beardsley Middle School.
