Know Thy Impact
Last week at PLC we started to look at the John Hattie Meta-analysis of influences on student achievement in relation to Technology Integration.
When we can harness the power of the research of our educational peers, we can make instructional decisions that should have a larger impact on student achievement. Although the handout I provided you with the list of influences is very helpful, it is good to know what each of the influences means. The website linked below is what was referenced in PLC:

The glossary and definitions of each influence are available for you to download below as well. Sometimes, what Hattie has classified together may be under a different name than what we are familiar with, so the document linked below is very helpful.
