Having Fun with Learning!
Message from the Principal
I hope everyone had a great spring break and enjoyed the spring weather! This week the students enjoyed outdoor recess and snack breaks. It is a pleasure to see so many little faces each day and hear our hallways bopping again!
Our Dance-a-thon was awesome! Thank you for all your donations and contributions to making this event a success.
The weather is getting warmer and the snow is gone! We are trying to get the students outside as much as possible. Students have been enjoying recess on the playground. On wet days they stay in their designated lunch rooms and participate in online movement activities. We will get the students outside as much and as frequent as possible. Please be sure to dress them appropriately, so they are prepared for the weather.
Please continue to me mindful at drop-off and pick up especially with the combining of cohorts. As you can see the MOPD has been present to ensure the safety of our school community. Please keep these items in mind:
- There are circles on the ground for students to stand on as they line up in the morning. Please be sure your child utilizes them and remains socially distant.
- Please do not arrive to school before 8:20 whether you are walking or in the car line.
- Students are not to be left before the bell rings at 8:26- please do not leave them until you hear it.
- When using the carline, please pull all the way up, only let children out on the passenger side, do not get out of your car, and never pass another car. This is all for the safety of our children and staff.
- Students should not be dropped off on Clover Hill Drive- please use the carline
- Please do not make U-Turns during arrival and dismissal
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Apply for Free/Reduced Lunch
Per N.J.A.C. 2:36-1.5(d), "Students are eligible for school meal benefits or free milk for
the school year and up to 30 operating days in the subsequent school year". As of
October 21 2020, all students who previously qualified for free and reduced lunch in the
2019-2020 school year that have not submitted a lunch application for the 2020-2021
school year, have been reset to "paid" status. Although this has no immediate
impact on any student because of the “free lunch for all”, when/if the” free lunch
for all” status is lifted, students will be required to pay for their meals (breakfast
and lunch) until an application has been received and processed.
To avoid an interruption in benefits please proceed to the Realtime Parent Portal to
either fill out an application otherwise, please indicate that you do not wish to apply at
this time. Please note that only ONE (1) application per FAMILY, is required to
determine qualification status. status.
