Dr. Pramod Patil
Dr. Pramod Patil, has an MD in Physiology. He has worked on Insulin resistance and beta-cell function indices in Indian diabetics.Since last couple of years, he is intimately associated with diabetic research with Dr. Milind Watve and his team. His special interest lies in behavioral origin of modern day diseases, growth factors, Hyperinsulinemia, non-metabolic functions of insulin and evolutionary physiology. He is also active in the field of wildlife research and conservation, and known for his work on Critically Endangered bird species.
Radha Desai
I am a neuroscientist with a strong background in diverse disciplines of biology.I am currently pursuing a PhD at University College London focusing on understanding the role of mitochondrial pathology in neuroinflammation. I have worked in early drug discovery in neuroscience, biomarker biology and clinical resaerch. I have a continuing interest in drug development, right from early preclinical research all the way to clinical development. I look forward to opportunities to learn more about and contribute to new ways of solving old riddles in biomedical science.

Richa Modak
Richa Modak works as a Dietetic Intern at the University of Michigan Health System. She completed her Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor during which she also worked on Diabetes from a public health perspective in Pune, India. She has also completed her Bachelors in Microbiology and Masters in Biodiversity from Abasaheb Garware College, Pune, India and accomplished a number of projects under the guidance of Dr. Milind Watve. She assisted him on his work on Type II Diabetes with IISER in the summer of 2010. Her primary interests are dietetics and physical fitness focusing on yoga and dance. She also actively participates as a volunteer in wildlife conservation activities.
