Assuring Learning Excellence and Readiness for a Changing World
Thank you to everyone who donated to the United Way! We were able to collect another $87 on Thursday with your donations.
Brrr...it's cold out, it's dark when we come to school and dark when we leave school, and it is a busy time of year, in and out of school. Be sure to be filling your own bucket! I am canceling our staff meeting next Wednesday and our new teacher meeting on Thursday, hoping that will give you a little time back.
Tuesday our PLC Meetings will be at East. To kick off the morning, we will all be meeting for 10-15 minutes as a large group at 7:45 a.m. in the East Auditorium to look at a few pieces of data from our PLC Meetings thus far this year.
Last week, we took 15 kids to the YWCA Let's Talk About Race. The kids were nervous and a little apprehensive when we got there, but they were so empowered by the event. Sneak peek...we will be using what we learned in a future staff meeting.
FYI...the office staff will be providing Pay Day Doughnuts on Friday. Thank you to Molly Fox for organizing this for us, and to Claire Baker for doing the baking!
