Welcome our New Speech and Language Services Specialist- Ms. Patricia Bryant
Dear Parents, Teachers, and Staff
Happy New School Year!
It is my pleasure to introduce myself, Patricia Bryant, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
assigned to your school, Linwood Howe Elementary. Students may feel free to address with
Ms. Patty or Ms. Patricia. Our speech-language team looks forward to meeting your student(s)
and having an enriching school year.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Utah in Speech and Audiology and
completed my master’s degree in Communicative Disorder s at California State University Long
Beach. I have served fifteen years as an SLP in the public and non-public school systems,
providing interventions for students with communication challenges in grades preschool
through high school. On a personal note, I enjoy the Marvel and DC comics/characters, singing,
and live stage.
My weekly schedule is Monday through Friday during school hours. You will find me in Room 21
or in classrooms about the campus. Please feel free to contact me by email at
patriciabryant@ccusd.org or leave a note at my school mailbox.
Our Speech Language Assistant is Marcela Lopez. Marcela comes to us with five plus years as a
speech and language aid and assistant in the educational setting. She will assist me with
providing the needed services. Marcela shared that she enjoys reading books at the beach.
We look forward to a rewarding school year.
Sincerely,
Patricia Bryant, M.A., CCC-SLP
