Math

We have been learning ways to make addition facts simpler, such as making a ten or using a double fact. In your child's binder, he/she has the lyrics to two songs we have learned. I am attaching the songs below. Listening to these songs is a great way to memorize ten facts and doubles.

Patty Packs

PattyPack Drive: January 25th - 29th:

MES will be collecting travel-sized toiletries for PattyPacks, a non-profit organization designed to assist families dealing with children who require emergency and often extensive hospital stays.

Moby Max

We have started a new program called Moby Max. Moby Max is a personalized learning program designed to differentiate for the needs of each child. We have spent some time in the computer lab getting to know Moby Max, and the kids are excited about it! They earn game time for the amount of time they spend learning with the program. It is a wonderful program that really meets the needs of each individual child. I encourage you to use Moby Max to supplement your child's curriculum in reading, writing, math, and even science! Click on the sign-in page below, and enter our school code: sc1175. Then enter your child's username and password (located in the reading log portion of the binder). Have fun!
