What's up in the Tech World!
Thank you!
I want to start off saying "Thank you" for your patience as we worked through issues last week. I know we don't have everything resolved but we are working as quickly as we can. The tech guys are enjoying having a phone and have tried to come quickly when you had an issue. They haven't always been able to fix the problem but they are learning.
I will be at Upper school all week this week to monitor the tech guys. Lower school, if you have issues, continue to email me and either I or a tech guy will come over at the end of the day. The student wifi where they use their own personal log-in is now working (for Upper school).
I wanted to share a few resources this week:
(Lower School) I found an amazing site with all types of resources telling how to use Google Apps for Education (GAFE) with our younger students. I encourage our Pre-K through 1st grade teachers to look at this. I am more than happy to help you implement any ideas that you are interested in. The link is below the image.
(Upper School) I am more than happy to some to your classroom and help you get your students enrolled in your Turnitin class. Many of the Juniors and Seniors have accounts and it is a very simple process to get them enrolled in a class. (If you need help getting your own Turnitin account or setting up a class, I am happy to do that as well.) It was such a busy first couple of days dealing with some tech issues that I don't have much other information to share.
