Information
Location:
The Great Santa Cruz Island is located in Asia and is a part of the Philippines. The Longitude and Latitude is 6 degrees 51' 55 N 122 degrees 3'45'E.
The Great Santa Cruz Island is an active coast because its located near tectonic activity and the Pacific Plate. The Island is a secondary coast because it was formed by volcanic activity. The island is an emergent beach because it has emerged from volcanic activity and has grown overtime. The color of the sand on the island is pink and this is due to the pulverized red organ pipe coral from eons of surf erosion mixed with white sand.
