2017-18 Excellence in Education and District Teacher/Service/Support Person-of-the-Year Nominations
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO NOMINATE SOMEONE! We work with some amazing people here at PCHS!
All PCR-3 Staff are given the opportunity to nominate staff members for the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce's Excellence in Education program as well as the District's Teacher, Service, and Support Person of the Year. The purpose of this process is to identify and recognize strong leaders in our organization as defined by our District values and mission.
The deadline to submit a nomination has been extended until Thanksgiving break!
SPEAK UP Campaign|Assembly
An all-school assembly will take place on November 30, 2017 at 1:50 in the north

DECA project.
It also serves as a follow-up to the SOS training we hosted last
month. This campaign is funded with a grant from the Platte County Prevention Coalition,
a group of community members committed to promoting a safe, healthy and drug-free environment in our in our community.
Speaker Jeff Yalden specializes in Igniting Positive Change in our Youth! will be here to deliver the message. Feel free to check him out at www.jeffyalden.com.

Super easy - Two questions!!
Salvation Army Needs Bell Ringers
Advisors, Counselors and Teachers:
The Salvation Army is in need of Clubs or Groups to help with the Red Kettle Christmas Bellringing.
It's a fun way to earn community service hours, and possibly make it a friendly competition.
Bellringing begins late November and runs through December 23rd, with no Bellringing on Sunday. Shifts are generally from 8 am-10 pm. Students can take a hour with a friend, and the group can do one day or more, depending on the number of students involved. Minimum age to ring is 16 years old.
Please contact Melida McManness at 816-968-0372 if you and your group would be interested in being a Bellringer this season.
