A Message from the Principal
April 20, 2022
Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,
Happy Easter Wednesday! We are in the Octave of Easter until next Sunday and will remain in the Easter Season until Pentecost. This is an especially wonderful time to celebrate our call to be joyful disciples!
Spring is also the time of standardized testing. Next week our 3rd through 7th graders will be taking the IOWA test. Soon Kinder through 3rd will be taking the end-of-year TPRI test, and the 8th graders will be taking the PSAT test on April 27. The Catholic Schools Office asked HFCS to beta test the Classical Learning Test with our 8th graders in early May.
Do you have any friends or family that are thinking about sending their children to HFCS? If so, let prospective parents know that we are having an Open House tonight from 6:30 to 8:00pm.
Easter blessings,
Ann Walters
Principal

CREATE PEACE - A MUSICAL AND POETIC PRESENTATION
Join Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. Cerda's Third Grade Class for the spring musical, CREATE PEACE, on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Pemberton Library.
“Create Peace” is a musical where each student has written and will recite an original acrostic poem about peace. The music includes an original song by Mrs. Anita Hurst, our music teacher and director called “Balancing Act” about life’s chaos. Then the class will share some comfort with all of you through “In This Reconciliation”, “Live Love”, “Jesus, Jesus (round)”, “Peace is Flowing Like a River”, “Peace”, “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “Shalom”. The songs will all be accompanied by an original recording made by Mrs. Hurst and Mr. Kevin Kerr. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!!!
