25 Years of Growing Together in Faith & Knowledge
Dear SFCS Parents & Friends,
I hope everyone has been enjoying the first few days of Christmas Recess!
Last week was a joyous one for our school community with being able to have some of our traditional events back again this year!
Thank you to Mrs. Gaherty for organizing the Procession to the Crib on Tuesday and Father Max for blessing the school's Nativity.
Thank you to Mrs. Sweeney and MacDonald for organizing a wonderful Advent Concert! It was so nice to be able to have this traditional event return this year!
Thank you to Mrs. White, all the FSA/parent volunteers, and the Knights of Columbus for treating the students to another Breakfast with Santa! The food was delicious and the students loved seeing Santa!
Lastly, thank you to the parents who sincerely and generously illustrated their appreciation to the faculty for the Christmas gifts and Snowflake fund. Your children are a gift to us on a daily basis and we treasure the opportunity to teach them!
I hope everyone has a very holy and merry Christmas!
Sincerely in Christ,
Brian Pope

Moss Creek Equestrian Center would like to thank you for your support. We will be hosting two schools for the spring session: St. Francis and Heritage Academy. Our program’s goal is to share the love of horses, learn how to care for the animal as well as riding. At the end of the session we will host a friendly interscholastic competition. The co-ed team is open to students from each school 1st through 8th grade. The riding team will be an eight-week course meeting once a week (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday afternoons). At the end of the eight weeks, we will have a horse show for all the participants to compete as individuals and as a school.
The classes will be held starting:
February 15th Tuesday 4:30pm - Heritage Academy Beginners
February 18th Friday 3:30pm - St. Francis and Heritage Academy Intermediate / Advanced Combined
February 18th Friday 4:30pm - St. Francis Beginners
February 20th Sunday 3:30pm- St. Francis Beginners
February 20th Sunday 4:30pm - Heritage Academy Beginners
No experience necessary! We supply helmets, and we ask that all riders wear shoes with a heel (boots preferred) and long pants. This will be a fun experience for all!
