The final cutoff date, May 5th, for 100% AR is rapidly approaching. Please take some time over the next few weeks reading each day to ensure you reach your goal for the year.
As a friendly reminder, students must take the AR tests by themselves. Parents should not assist in any way or be in the room when and where students are taking AR tests.

Earth Day Celebration at Fernbank Science Center
In observance of Earth Day, Fernbank Science Center will be presenting two special programs in the Jim Cherry Memorial Planetarium on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
At 11 am, our usual “Sky Tonight” exploration of the night’s sky will be replaced with “Earth Today,” an exploration of the volcanoes, earthquakes, and other geologic forces actively changing our planet in real time. Regular admission prices of $7 for adults and $5 for students apply. As always, DeKalb employees get in free with their ID badges.
At 1:00 p.m., we present “Where on Earth?” We will use our new 4K digital projection system and software to take stunning field trips to as many places around the globe as we can go in an hour. We will draw locations from suggestions submitted by the audience. So think of your favorite spot and come join us for a unique voyage! This presentation is free for all.
