Memorial Memo!
News & Updates for our Little Devils Families
Week Ending 10/27/23
Dear MES Families!
We definitely ended this week with some excitement, although it wasn't the Halloween excitement we were planning for. I want to thank you all for your cooperation and support as we made sure all of our students were accounted for and safe at the Clark this morning. Our staff were amazing and went right into action taking care of their students. I'm proud to have this team supporting our students in any emergency situation.
This morning's incident reminds us why it is vitally important to remain calm and focus on our students during any emergency. Our students were always safe and we made sure they were dismissed safely as well. This is why we ask that you keep your emergency contact forms up to date at all times. We rely on that information in these situations. We also ask that you have anyone that you may ask to pick up your child on the form as an emergency contact person.
If you ever have changes to your form, you can email the classroom teacher and/or Miss Martha in the office.
Unfortunately, our Halloween fun is being postponed to next week. The weather won't be as beautiful on Tuesday, but it still looks like a brisk day for a parade! We will have our classroom celebrations and Halloween parade at 12:45 on Tuesday.
Stay tuned on the re-scheduling of the Monster Ball (hopefully for next Friday, November 3).
Reminder- there's NO School on Wednesday, November 1st.
Monday will be a Technology Day 1
Love,
Mrs. French

Notes from Nurse Mona
Students sometimes get messy and wet while playing hard at school. Please be prepared by having an extra set of clothes in a bag in the bottom of your child's backpack. This is will make it easy to find them in the event we need them for your child.
