The red lines lead to the drop off tent. There will be staff there to collect devices (iPads and Chromebooks) and tables for you to place other items. When you arrive to the pick up locations, please shout your student's last name and/or have a sign in your car. Staff will be wearing masks. They wore gloves as they put your student's items in their grab bags. We will retrieve your bags from inside and place on the sidewalk near your car. When we walk away, you are welcome to come out of your car to retrieve your bags. As we return all of your children's items, we appreciate your help with adhering to social distancing.

Intent to Return Forms

We recognize that there are many things still up in the air regarding permanent change of stations. We have "uncertain" as a choice, so please complete the attached Intent To Return Form by the 15th. This will help us with our planning for next school year. If you remain in our attendance area, there is no need to enroll for next year. If you are out of our attendance area, please complete the attached lottery application. We still have space in our 7th grade!

Student to Student Goodbye or "See You Later"

We will be using Flipgrid to give students an opportunity to say goodbye to one another and/or Ladd staff. If your child knows how to use flip grid, click here or the picture. If your child does not know how to do it and you need directions, click here.

Ladd Staff We Miss You

This interest survey for students was pushed out by teachers on April 20th. It is due by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday, May 1st. Encore schedules will be communicated in the fall. Click the picture or here for the link to the survey.

Yearbook Sales:

If you missed the online ordering, that's ok. We are likely to have some copies available for purchase ($20) at pickup. Please bring cash or check (made out to Ladd PTA) already in a plastic baggie.

Lessons & Engagement

I'm sure that by this point, your family is finding a rhythm that works during this remote learning. The recommended workload is listed below. However, we know that keeping connected with teachers and peers is very important during this isolating time. Feel free to join the zoom or google meets times, even if your child is not able to stay on top of the assignments. We know that everyone is experiencing this time differently. We just want to connect. Starting on the 11th, we will return to engagement activities that are less dependent on technology. We will include some paper/pencil items in your student's grab bag from school. As the weather improves, students are encouraged to use this time for outdoor exploration of art, science, nature and physical activities. The last day of school is May 19th.

Recommended workload:

PK/K = 30 min/day

1/2 = 45 min/day

3/4/5 =1 hour/day

6/7/8 = 30 min/day/class
